The structural frame of the new sports hall is growing day by day.

Construction of the new sports hall in Turnov II is proceeding according to plan. While work last month focused primarily on drilling piles, trucks carrying precast concrete elements are now arriving at the construction site daily, and the building’s framework is rapidly taking on its future shape.

All underground utilities, sewer lines, radon ventilation, and grounding strips have been completed—in short, everything that needed to be prepared before pouring the new foundation slab.

At the rear of the site, preparations are underway for road drainage. For now, construction activity is taking place only within the construction site, but during the summer break, work will also extend to Alešova Street. While school is out, the road will be excavated and the necessary utility relocations will be carried out.

Work is gradually beginning on the hall’s structural frame, and work is also underway on relocating the street lighting. In collaboration with the architect, the final color scheme for the window frames and the building’s facade is being selected.

The contractor for the project is SYNER–MARHOLD. The total construction cost will amount to approximately 220 million crowns, excluding VAT. Completion of the new sports hall is scheduled for April 2027.
